Chapattis
2 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup water

Put the flour and salt into a bowl. Add water and mix until stiff dough.
Need until dough is elastic and firm. Place in a greased plastic bag or a grease proof paper bag and put in a warm place for 30 minutes.

On a floured board, shape dough into a long roll, and divide into 12 equal slices. Roll out paper thin.

Heat a heavy UNGREASED frying pan and when very hot, cook the chapattis for about one minute on each side.
Cool between paper towels.

Chapattis should always be eaten while fresh.

Makes 12 Chapattis
