Mom’s #1 Bar-B-Q Sauce
32 oz. Ketchup
1 cup Beer
1/2 tablespoon Garlic Powder
1 (9 oz.) cans Tomato Sauce
1 tablespoon Pepper, ground
1 slice Lemon
1/2 Cup Onion, chopped
1/2 Cup Green Pepper, chopped
1/4 teaspoon Mustard Powder
1 tablespoon Brown Sugar

Put 1/2 the onions and green peppers (cut small) together with other ingredients in big pan. Cook on stove until it is warm, then cook uncovered slowly, approximately 1 hour on smoker style BBQ pit, stirring frequently. Using hickory chips in the coals, so that the flavor of the chops blends with the sauce. Add other half of onions and peppers (Large cut), add just before removing from grill.
