Beef Stew
1 pound Beef Stew Meat
1 Onion, chopped
4 Medium potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 inch cubes
4 medium carrots, sliced
2 celery stocks, chopped
3 bay leaves
3 tablespoons, chopped garlic
1 tablespoon oregano
Vegetable oil
2 cups of water
Pepper to taste

Pour enough vegetable oil in the crock pot to cover the bottom and place frozen stew meat in the crock pot.

Spread chopped garlic on the meat and sprinkle with oregano.

Set crock pot on high and cook for 3 hours, stirring every hour. Add water if necessary.

Add carrots, celery and onion. Top with bay leaves and add 2 cups of water. Pepper to taste.

Cook for an additional 2 hours, until meat and vegetables are tender.
