Bread Pudding with Raisins
3 slices of bread torn into 3/4 inch squares
1/2 cup seedless raisins
2 cups skim milk
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix raisins and bread squares in a 1 1/2 - 2 quart lightly buttered baking dish. Stir by hand until evenly blended.

In a mixing bowl mix milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and salt until evenly mixed.

Pour liquid mixture over bread and raisin mixture, stir until consistent.

Place baking dish in another pan with 1 inch of water in it.

Bake for 45-55 minutes or until done. To test for being done, insert a butter knife into the middle of the pudding. If the knife comes out clean, the pudding is done.
